Getting Started

A P2Poolv2 node runs a Stratum v1 server for your miners and a p2p network node that builds a sharechain in collaboration with other P2Poolv2 nodes. The sharechain is a blockchain of weak bitcoin blocks that supports blocks. See Sharechain Design for details on how the sharechain works.

Testnet4 Is Live

You can see what the P2Poolv2 testnet4 pool is doing by looking at our Grafana dashboard and our node’s view of the sharechain.

To mine on our public node, connect to stratum://testnet4.p2poolv2.org:3333. We recommend running your own node, however: P2Poolv2 is only as strong as the nodes mining on it.
